What’s New With CDA This Month?
Co-Pay
With the recent update to the CDA Desktop application, we now display an alert when a "Co-Pay" is needed from a ServicePower dispatch. When CDA does an import from ServicePower dispatches, we now look at the "co-pay" and display that amount in the main tab area.

Message Center
The CDA Message Center is a powerful tool if you're looking to reduce email communication within your company and alert CDA users. In the past when you had concerns about a Claim, you'd email an employee, but today with the CDA Message Center, you simply send them a message built within CDA. Once that message is sent, the recipient(s) will get an alert of the message, and the specific Claim it's attached to.

There is no setup to use the Message Center, it's available right within the CDA application, as well as having its own tab within every Claim you open.

While in a Claim, you can message any other CDA user information that might be needed for that Claim you're in. The person(s) you just sent the message to will get a notification that they have a new unread message while they are still in CDA, or the next time they log into CDA, they will get a prompt that they have an unread message.

Just a few highlights of features:
  • Know whether a message has been read or not.
  • Message employees right within the Claim.
  • Display Claim work order while in Message Center.
  • Text the Customer right within Message Center without opening Claim.
  • Over seven list sorts available.
  • Archive messages.

CDA Pidgins Claim Integration
If you're not using the CDA Pidgins desktop application, you are certainly missing
better/faster customer communication, as well a reduction in call center labor cost. How? Let's review. 😃

Now, whenever a customer responds to a TXT message, if that phone is associated with a Claim, we pull the following information for you, so you don't have to waste time looking up the Claim information in CDA. You now have important information available to you right within the CDA Pidgins application. It's CDA Amazing; we agree with you.

Claim Information we Display (in order)
  • Claim Number
  • Date In
  • Schedule Date
  • In-House Sub-Status
  • FirstName
  • LastName
  • Notes (In House Comments) <Current 30 lines of notes>
  • Previous Claims

***[Tip / Trick] The question we get asked the most is what Claim number are we showing if the customer has several Claims associated with their phone number? We show the most current Claim number in your system. The rest of the Claim numbers is displayed below the "Notes' section.
