The CDA Message Center is a powerful tool if you're looking to reduce email communication within your company and alert CDA users. In the past when you had concerns about a Claim, you'd email an employee, but today with the CDA Message Center, you simply send them a message built within CDA. Once that message is sent, the recipient(s) will get an alert of the message, and the specific Claim it's attached to.
There is no setup to use the Message Center, it's available right within the CDA application, as well as having its own tab within every Claim you open.
While in a Claim, you can message any other CDA user information that might be needed for that Claim you're in. The person(s) you just sent the message to will get a notification that they have a new unread message while they are still in CDA, or the next time they log into CDA, they will get a prompt that they have an unread message.
