The CDA Service Manager software system is available in modules allowing you to purchase the program with only the features you are interested in. The following summary will explain each module and its cost. Modules can be purchased separately at any time and added to the system through our FTP Site.

CDA Service Manager Main System Module (required)

CDA Multi-User Module

  • This module is required to use the CDA Service Manager system in a Local Area Network environment. This will provide the proper file and record locking to avoid data corruption and provide shared resources. The Multi-User module will also provide 100% connectivity to all Windows Based Networks as well as Remote Desktop Access.
  • Your CDA license will allow an unlimited number of concurrent workstations to one server. An additional license is needed for each CDA server or additional business locations.

 

CDA Communications Module

CDA Parts Tracking Module

  • Over the last couple of years, we have received many requests to enhance the ability to track parts in CDA. With the price of parts and cores increasing dramatically, the amount of money being lost each year through miss-handling and inadequate follow up has become overwhelming for many service companies. Now, this new module will help you take control of these issues. You will now be able to track any part through every phase of service. Tracking bar code labels will provide multiple functions. Parts are linked directly to Vendor invoices for quick monitoring of current assignments and statuses. One quick scan will provide everything you need to know about any part. View a history of every time the part is scanned. Each history entry is stamped with the date and user's name. New tracking reports will provide detailed information on RMA status for parts and core tracking.
  • Parts can easily be assigned to work orders or Techs with a simple scan. When scanning the tracking number onto a work order, the system will retrieve the actual cost price from the vendor's invoice rather than the last cost price entered in your inventory assuring you the correct price for each individual part.
  • You will always know if parts that were assigned to technicians have been used, returned, or remain in their possession. Defective parts or Cores can be properly assigned and tracked until credit or replacements are received. The system can also determine the amount of time left for each part to comply with each vendor's return policies to help you resolve issues of returning parts on time. Specific reports are also available to show parts having a "HOLD FOR RETURN" status so you will be able to return the parts in a timely manor.
  • This is a very detailed and comprehensive tracking system that will require specific parts handling procedures. On-Line training sessions will be available at no additional cost.

 

Bar Code Module

  • Assign Shelf Locations to Work Orders quickly by scanning the Label on the Unit and then scanning the shelf bar code.

Document Scanning and Attachments Module

  • Scan and save documents directly into work orders. You will be able to scan as many documents as needed. Each will be converted and appended to a PDF file. When you select to view your scanned documents, CDA will launch Acrobat Reader and display all documents as thumbnails. You can then take advantage of all the features provided with Acrobat Reader for printing, faxing, etc.
  • If you have our Vendor Invoice Control module, you will also be able to scan the original parts invoice and attach it to the Vendor's Invoice record.
  • The Attachment functions will allow you to attach any file directly to work orders.  In addition, you can also attach files to Manufacture, Dealer, and Models records.
  • MobileCDA techs will be able to take pictures and capture customer signatures and automatically attach them to work orders.
  • Attached files can be view and emailed.

 

Dispatch Scheduler Module

  • Advanced scheduler to handle detailed scheduling for multiple groups such as Electronics, Appliance, Projection, Satellite, Etc.
  • Create Routes or Zones and assign zip codes to each.

  • Automatically displays availability for any route simply by entering a zip code for any group.

Dispatches are automatically entered into CDA and booked to your Scheduler. You have the option to re-schedule or reject any dispatch. All subsequent status changes to a job are updated in real-time.   • This function will allow you to import dispatches that have been generated using Samsung's web portal. You create an Excel file using the export tool on the site and receive the file to your computer.  CDA will process the Excel file and create work orders for all available dispatches.

On-Line Customer Repair Status Tracking

Hosted Web Service: $20.00 per mo.

  • Surveys have confirmed that customers would prefer to track the repair of their product on your web site rather than having to call you.  Dealing with customers on the telephone is very time consuming and costly.  Now, for only 66¢ a day, you can greatly improve the productivity of your employees by relieving the wasted time needed to deal with customers every day on the phone. 
  • We will design your personal web page on our secure internet server and give you a link that you can add to your own web site.  Your customers, dealers and manufacturers will have the ability to track their repair status by simply entering the required job claim information. This page will be designed to your specifications and will display your Company Information, Logo and Graphics. We will also give you special CDA software that will extract the status information from your system and automatically upload it to our server on a regular basis in order to keep the files current.

** On-Line training is defined as reasonable time required to demonstrate the proper way to use the product to obtain maximum results for your company.  This includes all areas for new customers as well as new modules and features as they are added for existing customers.  Training is performed on a scheduled basis and may require several sessions to complete.  After the initial training has been completed, additional training will be available upon request at our standard support fees.
